Our Mission
Effingham Area Right to Life is dedicated to protecting the sanctity of every human life through education, prayer, advocacy, and compassionate support for women, children, families, the elderly, and those facing difficult life circumstances. We believe every human life is a gift from God and deserves dignity, respect, and protection—from conception to natural death.
Our History
For more than 50 years, Effingham Area Right to Life has served the Effingham area by promoting a culture of life rooted in faith, compassion, and service.
Founded by local citizens who recognized the need to protect the most vulnerable among us, our organization has grown into a respected community resource dedicated to educating the public, supporting life-affirming ministries, encouraging prayer, and advocating for laws that protect human life.
Throughout the years, we have remained committed to bringing people together through community events, educational programs, legislative advocacy, and partnerships with organizations that provide hope and practical assistance to women, children, and families.
What We Believe
We believe every person is uniquely created in the image and likeness of God and possesses inherent dignity and worth.
When we say we support life from conception to natural death, we affirm that every human life deserves protection and respect at every stage—including the unborn, individuals with disabilities, those facing illness, the elderly, and every person in between.
Our mission extends beyond advocating for the unborn. We strive to support mothers, fathers, families, caregivers, and individuals experiencing difficult or unexpected circumstances through education, prayer, compassionate outreach, and partnerships with organizations that provide life-affirming care.
We believe building a culture of life means valuing every person, offering hope instead of despair, and walking alongside those in need with love, compassion, and practical support.
